The City of Seattle has asked neighborhoods to “Be Prepared” to survive for 3 days in a major disaster without 911, phones, internet, power and other vital city services. Queen Anne’s Boy Scout Troop 72 has committed to keeping emergency lines of communications open between Queen Anne Hill and Seattle’s Emergency Operations Center via 2-way radios at the West Queen Anne Playfield Emergency Communications Radio Hub Site.
